How to determine the date of production/manufacture or age of PortaPac® HVAC Systems.

The date of production/manufacture or age of PortaPac® HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number located on the data plate.

Example serial number styles/formats found:

  • Style 1:  E042555

Style 1:   E042555

Description: Seven (7) character Serial number begins with one (1) letter digit followed by six (6) numerical digits.
Month of manufacture can be determined using the 1st character letter.  (Decode using the chart below).
Year of manufacture can be determined using the 2nd-3rd numerical digits.
