How to determine the date of production/manufacture or age of ECUA™ HVAC Systems.

The date of production/manufacture or age of ECUA™ HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number located on the data plate.

Example serial number styles/formats found:

  • Style 1:  EN8903

Style 1:   EN8903

Description: Six (6) character Serial number begins with two (2) letter digits followed by four (4) numerical digits.
Month of manufacture can be determined using the 1st character letter.  (Decode using the chart below).
Year of manufacture can be determined using the 2nd character letter. (Decode using the chart below).
