The date of production/manufacture or age of Benjamin® HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number located on the data plate.

  • Style 1:  A0407142

Style 1:   A0407142

Description: Eight (8) character Serial number begins with one (1) letter digit followed by seven (7) numerical digits.
Year of manufacture can be determined by using the combined 2nd & 3rd numerical digits
Month of manufacture can be determined using the 1st letter digit. (See chart below to decode).
