How to determine the date of production/manufacture or age of AllStyle® HVAC Systems.

The date of production/manufacture or age of AllStyle® HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number located on the data plate.

Parent Company: AllStyle Coil Co., L.P.
Sister or similar Brands: AllStyle | Lendell (Obsolete Brand Name)

Example serial number styles/formats found:

Style 1: 3C2298461
Style 2: 3C48549S -or- 09J03234S

Note: Allstyle brand (formerly Lendell) commenced operations in May of 1990. Early systems used style 1 (manual numbering system). Most later units will be style 2 (computer generated). Starting in 2000, the serial number for style 2 will begin with two digits, the first being a "0" (zero) prior to 2010, or "1" (one) prior to 2020, etc.

Style 1: 3C2298461

Style 1 - Description: Nine (9) character Serial number begins with one (1) numerical digit followed by one (1) letter and ends with seven (7) numerical digits.

Year of manufacture can be determined by using the 4th - 5th numerical digits. See chart below (Note: The numbers are reversed....i.e. in the sample number above the 4th and 5th digits are "29". When you reverse the number to "92" you can determine that your unit was manufactured in 1992.

Month of manufacture can be determined using the 2nd letter digit. See chart below to decode.

Style 2: 3C48549S -or- 09J03234S

Style 2 - Description: Eight (8) or nine (9) character Serial number begins with one (1) or two (2) numerical digits followed by one (1) letter then five (5) numerical digits and ends with one (1) letter.

Year of manufacture can be determined by using the 1st one or two numerical digits preceding the letter. (Single digit used during the 1990's. Two digits after 1999.)

Month of manufacture can be determined using the 1st letter (after the year code). See chart below to decode.
