How to determine the date of production/manufacture or age of AIRCO® HVAC Systems.

The date of production/manufacture or age of AIRCO® HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number located on the data plate.

  • Style 1: 1297A012064

Style 1:   1207A012064

Description: Eleven (11) character Serial number begins with four (4) numerical digits followed by one (1) letter and ends with six (6) numerical digits.

Year of manufacture is 3rd-4th character numerical digits
Month of manufacture is 5th character letter digit (see chart below)

Style 2:   HTYL54759

Description: Nine (9) character Serial number begins with four (4)character letters followed by five (5) character numerical digits

Month of manufacture is 1st character letter digit (see chart below
Year of manufacture is 2nd character letter (see chart below)
